About the Authors:

Lincoln H. Blumell is an assistant professor in the Department of Ancient Scripture at Brigham Young University. Dr. Blumell holds a BA (Honors) in classics and early Christian studies from the University of Calgary, an MA in religious studies from the University of Calgary, an MSt in Jewish studies from the University of Oxford (Christ Church), and a PhD in religious studies from the University of Toronto. His research specialty is ancient Christianity and Greek papyrology. He lives in Orem, Utah, with his wife and four children.

Gaye Strathearn is an associate professor in the Department of Ancient Scripture at Brigham Young University. She received her PhD in religion (New Testament) from Claremont Graduate School. Her research interests include the Gospel of Matthew, the writings of Paul, and early Christianity. She lives in Provo, Utah.

Thomas A. Wayment is a professor in the Department of Ancient Scripture at Brigham Young University. He joined the faculty in June 2000, after completing a PhD in New Testament studies at Claremont Graduate School. His research interests include the early manuscript tradition of Christian texts, the Christian Apocrypha, the life of Paul, and early Latter-day Saint history up to the Nauvoo period. He and his wife, Brandi, are the parents of two daughters, Shelby and Cate, and they live in Mapleton, Utah.
